Background

Developed in Russia at the Institute of Molecular Genetics. Consists of the ACTH(4-7) fragment extended with a Pro-Gly-Pro tripeptide that confers protease resistance. Retains neurotropic activity while lacking the corticotropic activity of full-length ACTH.
